The Hawaii Association for Marine Education and Research, Inc. is working directly with Ultimate Whale Watching Adventures, an ecotourism operator situated in Lahaina Harbor, Maui.  The mission of this collaborative effort is to ensure that the public is receiving accurate and current information on the biology, behavior, and status of Hawaii's endangered humpback whales, and to instill a standard code of conduct for whale-watching operations that result in commercial sustainability.
